For several years the Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District has had a program whereby it supports various charitable causes. This program is called Project Hometown Help. Funds designated for the program are returned to the county within which its customers live.

Our Food Bank's application was recently approved and we received a grant of $2000 from Hamilton County's share. This is the third year that we have been awarded money from Project Hometown Help.

We appreciate this help and other favors MTNGUD has given us.

Thanks to all who distributed the enrollment cards and who, by using the card, allowed their purchases to support the Soddy Daisy Food Bank. We recently received a check for $1,500 from the Boosterplus program. This is great way to help fund the food bank.

Bi-Lo and volunteers from the Soddy Daisy Food Bank are currently conducting fundraising events. Watch for these at your local store and help support their efforts. Working together we can make a difference toward hunger relief in our community.
